Qatar 2022: Goal Click Qatar

After years of debate around the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup, we still do not hear enough directly from people living in Qatar. At Goal Click, we are always willing to step into uncharted territory and explore areas where others are less willing to go.

Goal Click Qatar was a year-long storytelling series in partnership with the Supreme Committee, telling the inside story of Qatari football culture - through the eyes and words of people living in the next World Cup host nation.

Fifteen nationalities were represented by the male and female participants – including workers, fans, journalists, coaches; and both grassroots and professional players.

Launched to mark Three Years To Go and coincide with the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, the series was also displayed in two exhibitions - in Doha during the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup and in Sao Paulo during Copa America 2019.

The stories were published extensively across Qatar 2022 channels and generated global coverage from Soccerbible, COPA90 and FIFA.

“Working with Goal Click was seamless – from the initial discussions and proposal, to finding participants, outlining the brief, and, finally, to project execution.”
