EE: #HopeBeatsHate

We teamed up with EE, the UK mobile network and official sponsor of all four UK national Football Associations, to deepen the story of their #HopeBeatsHate campaign, tackling online sexist abuse.

We created a seven part series to tell the stories of players and coaches from seven grassroots clubs born out of adversity in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland – through photographic, written, and short-form social video stories.

The content was curated to inspire women, girls, and non-binary people into football by showing that race, sexual orientation, age, or ability should not be barriers to participation.

The #HopeBeatsHate series was launched across EE and Goal Click digital and social media channels, driving people to Football Association participation pages so individuals can find their place in football. EE also launched the series on in-store digital screens across their 600+ retail outlets in the UK.
