Our City, Our Stories

We are teaming up with Manchester City to celebrate the passion, diversity, and everyday lives of City fans across the United States.

We are looking for Manchester City supporters in New York, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and Atlanta to take part as storytellers in this project.

Who are we looking for?

We want to hear from Manchester City fans with unique, personal stories about soccer in their community and their connection to the club.

Are you involved in soccer as a player, coach, or through your local community? Are you involved in creative industries such as music, art, or fashion?

How did you first discover Manchester City? Was there a specific match, moment, or experience that sparked your connection to the club? Do you have any matchday rituals, superstitions, or traditions?

We are especially interested in how the game connects to your identity, local community, and lifestyle as a whole.

What do you have to do if you are selected?

If you are shortlisted, we will ask you to send us a short video submission.

If selected, you will be asked to capture your story and connection to Manchester City over the coming months through:

  • Photography (analogue and digital)

  • Short video clips capturing moments, people, or places that define your community

  • Written story about your soccer life and community

You will be guided by Goal Click every step of the way!

Storytellers will be notified of selection by the end of May.

What do you receive if you are selected?

As a thank you for your participation in the project, you will receive a merch pack from Manchester City.

Are there any requirements you must meet to apply?

  • You must be a Manchester City fan.

  • You must live in New York, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, or Atlanta.

  • You must be comfortable capturing content on your own phone and the analogue camera provided to you.  

  • You must be comfortable with your Manchester City story being shared on public channels, including the Manchester City website and social media channels.
