Chelsea Fans

Are you a passionate Chelsea supporter based in Nigeria? We are looking for a local fan - or group of fans - to welcome a fan from overseas and share what it means to be part of the global Chelsea family.

In April, a Chelsea supporter from England will travel to Nigeria as part of a documentary for the Premier League, in partnership with Guinness, for the Chelsea v Manchester City match on 11 April, and we are looking for Nigerian fans to be their local guides.

Together, you will experience the best of your region, and then cheer on the Blues in the afternoon.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Nigerian fans who live and breathe football, who can show how their passion for Chelsea fits into their everyday life and culture. Whether you watch matches with friends in a local pub drinking Guinness, play football with your fellow Chelsea fans, or enjoy some watch parties, we want to see how the club spirit thrives in your part of Nigeria.

If you love the club, love your hometown, and are excited to share your culture with another supporter from England, we would love to hear from you.

What do you have to do if you are selected?

If you are shortlisted, we will ask you to send us a short video submission.

If selected, you will be filmed on the day before the match and on match day by a small crew. You will showcase your region in Nigeria to a Chelsea fan visiting from England and enjoy the Chelsea v Manchester City match on 11 April* together.

Fans will be notified of selection no later than Monday, 9 March.

* Match date subject to change, so you must be available for two days of filming between the dates of 9 - 13 April.

What do you receive if you are selected?

If selected, you will be compensated for your participation.

Reasonable travel expenses will be covered.

Are there any requirements you must meet to apply?

You must:

  • Be a Chelsea fan.

  • Be at least 25 years old.

  • Be Nigerian and based in Nigeria.

  • Be available for two days of filming between 9 and 13 April.

  • Be comfortable being filmed in your local area or at home, if needed.

  • Be comfortable with being filmed for alcohol-related content.

  • Be comfortable with the content being shared on Premier League and Guinness social media channels.
